Aside from providing excellent orthopedic care, OrthoNorCal’s team strives to help the community attain the health resources they deserve. This year, OrthoNorCal was named a Bronze Sponsor supporting the Dominican Hospital Foundation.
Dominican Hospital Foundation mission “to respond and support the changing health care needs of the people within the area served by Dominican Hospital” reflects the great work that they do with the community. Every year, they host Holidays d’Eleganz to benefit the hospital and its lifesaving programs. This year’s event will be supporting two great causes: the Family and Newborn Courtyard and the Cardiac Hybrid Operating Room. Although though these services do not directly relate to OrthoNorCal’s orthopedic services, our practice hopes to help everyone receive the care they need no matter what it is. As active members of the healthcare community, OrthoNorCal’s Capitola team works closely with Dominican Hospital and Dignity Health to make sure this happens.

On November 18th and 19th, members of the OrthoNorCal team, including our providers joined the other sponsors and donors of the foundation for the President’s Luncheon and 75 Years of Giving Gala. During both of these events, the Dominican Hospital Foundation team spoke about the impact of the donations and support that people have made.
While providers lead the steps toward better healthcare. The support and effort from organizations such as Dominican Hospital Foundation continuously proves to be one of the key factors towards the healthcare that everyone needs and deserves. As a group, OrthoNorCal is honored to be a part of both of these contributions to the community.
